WATCH: Parson says he’s sending 200 National Guard troopers to country’s southern border

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson unveiled a plan Tuesday afternoon to send 200 Missouri National Guard soldiers to Texas to patrol the southern border.

The news conference at the governor's office and included officials from the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Missouri National Guard and Missouri State Highway Patrol, which will also send about 20 troopers.
