The Missouri General Assembly has been in session since January, but some of its major items of business remain unfinished.
Among them are forming new congressional districts, a process that broke down before Tuesday's deadline for candidates to file in the August primary election. The House is also still working through a budget, well behind a timeline set by the governor.
