Members of the Missouri National Guard will deploy to Washington, D.C.
A spokesperson says Gov. Mike Parson has ordered troops from Missouri to help the D.C. National Guard in providing assistance to the United States Secret Service.
Missouri National Guard members are expected to help with various roles for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
Guard members can expect to help out with security, communications, medical evacuation, logistics, and safety to district and federal agencies.
