COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Missing announced on its social media that it will be postponing a search for a missing man.

The organization said it is postponing a search originally set for Saturday for Daniel Thompson due to recent rainfall totals and the likelihood of inclement weather.

Thompson, 41, of Columbia, was reported missing on July 7. He was last heard from on June 26, according to the Columbia Police Department.

He is about 5-foot-8-inches tall with brown eyes and black hair and a beard. Thompson's car was found abandoned in the Rocky Forks Conservation area.
