COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Miller County woman was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries Tuesday afternoon after a car did a U-turn in front of her vehicle.

Janet Groniger, 52, of Ulman was riding in a Jeep Wrangler on Route C near Highway 42 when a car driven by Mary Jensen, 59, of Waynesville made a U-turn in front of her, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Groniger's Jeep rolled and went off the road. Jensen failed to yield, the report says.

Jensen and the Jeep driver, Vincent Groniger, 54, of Ulman were not hurt.
