Miller County man charged with statutory rape

LAKE OZARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

Lake Ozark police arrested a man after being accused of having sex with a 16-year-old on Dec. 30.

According to court documents, Lake Ozark police received a call from the victim saying that Christopher Jacobs had attempted to get into the victim's pants.

One day later, the victim told adults that Jacobs had sex with the victim according to court documents.

The victim talking to an advocate said that Jacobs pulled down the victim's pants and sexually assaulted her while another adult was in the room.

Police report talking to the other adult in the room. According to court documents, Jacobs told the other adult that he would have sex with the victim but the other adult said no. Jacobs then left the room and brought the victim back and assaulted the victim. The other adult reported being scared of Jacobs and his temper.

Jacobs is charged with 2nd-degree statutory rape.

Jacobs has a $25,000 bond.
