MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

State troopers arrested a Rocky Mount, Missouri man after an ATV crash early Monday in Miller County.

Jared Davis, 37, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, illegally operating an ATV on a highway, driving without a license and driving on the wrong side of the road resulting in a crash, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report.

Troopers said in a crash report that Davis was driving the ATV on Kiefer Road when he overturned the vehicle on a curve and hit a rock. Davis and a passenger, Jason Olivo, 24, were thrown from the ATV, the patrol reported.

Both men were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

It was not clear Tuesday whether Davis had been charged.
