Three teenagers accused of property damage in Audrain County

MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mexico Public Safety Department announced in a Wednesday press release that it detained three teenagers allegedly trying to break into the former Audrain Medical Center building.

Police responded to the 600 block of East Monroe Street at 12:33 a.m. Wednesday, according to the release

Officers detained the juveniles, two of them were 16 years-old and one was 15. They were taken to MPSD and eventually were released to their parents, the release states. The names of the youth were not released.

The release states they were detained on suspicion of property damage and minor in possession of alcohol.
