Wednesday was the fifth anniversary of the 2019 tornado that hit Eldon and Jefferson City.

The storm hit Jefferson City hard, tearing a path through the town from its outskirts to the Missouri River. The twister took out houses, businesses and infrastructure without discriminating.

ABC 17 News looked back at the storm on its fifth anniversary in a special called "Rebuilding Mid-Missouri."
