WATCH: Capitol Avenue recovers from 2019 Jefferson City tornado damage

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The historic area along East Capitol Avenue suffered the tornado's wrath.

Several historic buildings were badly damaged in the storm. Some didn't make it through but others were restored with the help of local volunteers.
