Maries County man killed in crash

VICHY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Vichy man was killed Thursday when his pickup truck ran off the road and overturned on Highway 63.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Phillip Bailey, 66, was driving on Highway 63 near Route A outside Vichy when his truck ran off the road. Bailey overcorrected and the truck went off the other side of the road and overturned, the patrol reported.

Bailey was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.

The Maries County coroner pronounced Bailey dead at the scene.
