Woman and two juveniles injured in two-vehicle car crash Friday evening

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KM(Z)

A woman and three juveniles were seriously injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Miller County Friday evening.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Stephanie Young, 33, was driving South on Blue Springs Drive at six o'clock with five other juveniles in the car. The crash occurred when another driver, Shawn Allsup, 26, crossed into the center of the road and hit Young's car.

Young was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

Two juveniles, ages nine and 11 were also taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the other children ages 10 and 13 suffered minor injuries.

Allsup was not injured in the crash.

Troopers say only three people involved in the crash, including Young and the nine year old girl that was injured were wearing seatbelts.
