Hearing for man charged in Clark Lane shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to online court records, Columbia resident Noah Solbrekken has a court hearing on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. for a preliminary hearing at Boone County Court House.

Solbrekken is charged with first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. According to Columbia Police, Solbrekken is charged in connection with the Nov. 2 shooting on Clark Lane.

According to CPD, officers responded to the 3700 block of Clark Lane for a report of shots fired. According to court documents, officers learned people in two vehicles shot at each other.

No injuries were initially reported, although officers later learned that one of the individuals involved had minor injuries, according to a press release.

The department also said people in the second vehicle in the shooting were interviewed and are not facing criminal charges at this time. During the crime scene investigation, officers found both .223 and .380 shell casings in the area.

This case also comes as 26-year-old Jasmine Bell is charged with assault in relation to a shooting at a Columbia gas station on Dec. 19.
