One person hospitalized after Columbia shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person is in the hospital after a shooting Saturday evening in Columbia.

Police were called to the scene on Eastwood Drive just before 7 p.m. Saturday after a shots fired call.

On scene, officers determined that at least two shots were fired resulting in one victim being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

No name or condition of the victim has been released at this time.

Police have also not provided any suspect information.
