Columbia man arrested for DWI after allegedly starting vehicle fire

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man is expected to make his first court appearance next week after being accused of starting a fire and driving while intoxicated.

Gary Michael was arrested Sunday.

Police say he lit a car on fire in the 7200 block of Moberly drive.

Deputies pulled him over near the scene of the fire.

According to court documents, Michael had a blood alcohol level of .182.
