Motorcycle rider suffers serious injuries in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An eastern Missouri motorcyclist suffered serious injuries when he crashed Friday afternoon in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Vito A. Corona, 49, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was flown to University Hospital after he crossed the center line on his Harley-Davidson and hit a minivan head-on on Coffman Bend Drive in the Climax Springs area.

Corona was not wearing a helmet, the patrol report says. He was in critical condition Friday night at University Hospital.
