Ohio woman hurt in jet ski crash at Lake of the Ozarks

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Ohio woman was taken to a hospital Tuesday after a jet ski collision on the Lake of the Ozarks.

Melissa Wray, 35, of Utica, Ohio, suffered serious injuries when she pulled her jet ski in front of another watercraft driven by Joshua Wray, 39, also of Utica, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Both Wrays were thrown from their jet skis.

The crash happened at the 17-mile marker of the main channel at about 4 p.m.

Melissa Wray was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Joshua Wray was not injured.
