One dead after boat crash on Lake of the Ozarks

Boat crash on Lake of the Ozarks, Aug. 27, 2022 — MSHP

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a boat crash on the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday afternoon that result in one death.

Troop F tweeted out photos and information about the crash, but a report has not become available at the time of publication.

The crash happened at the 13-mile mark of the main channel of the lake. Several passengers were ejected from the boat, but all are accounted for now, according to MSHP.

One death has been confirmed.

Troopers are asking people to reduce their speed in the area of the crash.
