Warrensburg man drowns in Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 32-year-old man from Warrensburg drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks Sunday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, Kegri Ilu was walking on a dock in the Darby Hollow Cove when he slipped and fell into the water shortly after 6 p.m.

The Camden County Medical Examiner pronounced Ilu dead just before 3 a.m. Monday.

The drowning marked Troop F's fourth this month and 11th for 2021.

The Mid-County Dive Team, Osage Beach Police Department and Osage Beach Fire Department assisted in the search.
