Illinois man drowns in Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 64-year-old from Illinois drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks Thursday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol incident reports, several law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the 430 block of Sioux Road in Camden County at 6:40 p.m.

The incident report said Christopher McClain did a backflip off the high dive from a deck and never came out of the water.

McClain died at the scene.
