Work on Downtown Jefferson City road moved to Thursday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Road work that was originally set for Tuesday in Downtown Jefferson City has been moved to Thursday, according to a press release from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works.

Utility street repairs will occur in the north and southbound lanes in the 200 block of Jefferson Street, the release says. Works is expected to start at 7 a.m. and will be completed at 5 p.m., the release says.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and signs will be posted, the release says.
