Lane closures to occur Tuesday on Downtown Jefferson City street

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Lane closures will be required Tuesday on a Downtown Jefferson City street for emergency utility repairs, according to a Monday press release from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works.

Utility street repairs will occur in the north and southbound lanes in the 200 block of Jefferson Street, the release says. Works is expected to start at 7 a.m. and will be completed at 5 p.m., the release says.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and signs will be posted, the release says.
