Pedestrian hit by vehicle at Downtown Jefferson City parking garage

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at a parking garage in Downtown Jefferson City on Wednesday morning, a crash report from the Jefferson City Police Department says.

The report says that police responded to the crash at 201 Madison Street. The driver of a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder made a left turn and drove into some parking spaces, the report says. The vehicle hit a pedestrian who was doing work in the area, the report says.

The pedestrian was brought to a hospital in Columbia with non-life-threatening injuries, the report says. The drive of the Nissan was brought to an area hospital for “medical treatment unrelated to the crash,” the report says.

No damage was reported on the vehicle, the report says.
