Road work announced for McCarty, Monroe streets in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Street repairs on two Jefferson City streets will require “intermittent lane changes,” according to a Thursday press release from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works.

Road repairs will begin on Monday in the eastbound lanes of the 300 block of East McCarty Street and the southbound lanes of the 300 block of Monroe Street, the release says.

Repairs will take place from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. each day and is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 8, the release says.
