Lane closure announced at Downtown Jefferson City intersection

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Utility work on Thursday will require a lane closure at a Downtown Jefferson City intersection, according to a Tuesday press release from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works.

The release says that Ameren Gas will close the southbound turn lane at the intersection of Madison and East High streets. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and was expected to be completed by 4 p.m.

The Department of Public Works wrote in a Thursday release that the project is now expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Friday.

Road work signs will be posted.
