Utility work to cause ‘intermittent lane changes’ on Monroe Street in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Utility work in Downtown Jefferson City will cause intermittent lane changes this week in the 300 block of Monroe Street, a Monday press release from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works says.

Work will begin Wednesday and is expected to be completed by Friday, the release says.

Road work signs will be posted and motorists are asked to avoid the area, if possible, the release says.
