Road work announced in Jefferson City; flooding closes two Cole County roads

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Department of Public Works announced a pair of street closures this week that involve road work.

On Thursday, the 300 block of Locust Street will close for street repairs from 8 a.m.-noon, according to a release from the from the Jefferson City Department of Public Works. Road closure signs and detours will be posted.

In another release from JC Public Works, the department announced that Renn Street will be closed 8 a.m.-noon Friday for repairs and that closure signs and detours will be posted.

Cole County flooded roads

Cole County Public Works announced a pair of road closures Tuesday evening due to flooding: the 1400 block of Waterford Road and the 2800 block of Meadows Ford Road.
