Missouri River Bridge open after traffic back up for crash

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Traffic is moving again on the Missouri River Bridge after a crash created a back up in the westbound lane for about half an hour Saturday.

The back up started around 10 a.m., according to a rave alert from Jefferson City Police, and the crash was cleared around 10:30 a.m.

Jefferson City Police tell ABC 17 News the traffic was restricted for the crash investigation. The people involved in the crash were not taken to the hospital, according to police.

ABC 17 requested the crash report, but it is not yet public.
