Three charged for involvement in Friday night shooting in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three people were arrested and charged for a shooting in Jefferson City.

Police say no one was hurt, but there was property damage. This happened in the 700 block of Marshall Street at Community Park around 8:30 Friday night.

Officers nearby heard the shots, and were able to respond quickly.

"The initial investigation did not locate any victims suffering from gunshots wounds, however
officers observed property damage to homes in the area. Multiple subjects were transported to
the department including witnesses to be interviewed at the police department. Authorities also
seized several vehicles as a result of the investigation," a news release reads.

Three people were arrested and are charged for the shooting: 20-year-old Zayvin W. Curtis, 25-year-old Izaya S. Sands and 24-year-old Daleone G. Murphy, all from Jefferson City. All three were charged with illegal weapons use.
