Jefferson City man charged with several crimes after a domestic disturbance Monday
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Cole County prosecutor has charged a Jefferson City man with multiple crimes after a domestic disturbance Monday morning.
Terrian Davis is charged with first-degree stalking, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, second-degree domestic assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
The victim told police that Davis was having an argument over fake money. The victim asked Davis to leave numerous times but Davis refused and escalated the violence, according to court documents.
The victim said that Davis hit her in the head and damaged property inside the apartment.
Police surrounded the residence and attempted to contact Davis however Davis left the apartment with a gun through the second-story exit onto the elevated deck.
Davis was found hiding inside a locked storage unit and then taken into custody. Police searching the area found the gun, according to a release.
Davis is currently at Cole County Jail being held without bond.
David will be arraigned Wednesday according to online court records.
