No one injured after Jefferson City house fire

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Fire Department responded to a house fire on the 2700 block of Briarwood Drive Thursday at 11:39 a.m.

Firefighters arriving on the scene found the rear and interior of the residence on fire. 

Crews put out the fire and report the house had significant smoke and fire damage.

The family is receiving help from the local Red Cross.  

No injuries were reportedly caused by fire.
