Republic Services in Jefferson City to resume trash pick up Wednesday

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Republic Services suspended trash pick-up service in Jefferson City Tuesday due to inclement weather and the safety of the drivers.

Officials report that regular service will resume Wednesday.

Officials say that any customer missed on Monday and Tuesday will be serviced next week.

Republic Service asks customers to ensure "containers are accessible for our drivers to safely service."
