Contractor to replace water main in Jefferson City Thursday

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Thursday, a contractor will be replacing a water main for Missouri American Water in Jefferson City.

Officials say the 200 block of Clay Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning at 8 a.m.

The replacement will include work on High and W. Main Street at their intersection with Clay but traffic will be maintained on those roadways.

Motorists are urged to find alternate routes.
