Jefferson City man arrested and charged after Wednesday incident

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Jefferson City Police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon following a report of kidnapping and harassment.

According to court documents, Christopher McCombs is alleged to have held the victim against their will and harrassing the victim because he thought the victim provided information against him.

The victim told police that McCombs assault the victim and threatened the victim with knife.

McCombs left the residence according to court documents and ran from police. Police eventually caught McCombs and arrested him according to court documents.

McCombs is charged with kidnapping, 2nd degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and harassment.

McCombs was denied bond and is in the Cole County Jail.
