One dead in Jefferson City motorcycle crash

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man is dead and another is hurt after a motorcycle crash in Jefferson City.

Jefferson City police said it happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of US 50 West.

Gregory Detienne, 68, was driving in the eastbound lanes when his motorcycle lost control and hit a guardrail. Detienne then reentered the highway and crashed with another motorcycle.

Detienne died in the crash. The other driver was taken to the hospital for their injuries.
