JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two Jefferson Medical Group buildings in the capital city were sold to a Chicago based private real estate investor and leased back to JCMG.

JCMG spokeswoman Jamie Patterson said the buildings sold won't affect care at the facilities.

"This sale has no impact to staff or patients," Patterson said.

The sale includes a medical building and a nearby orthopedic facility. Both buildings combined are more than 184,000 square feet.

MB Real Estate Advisors purchased the JCMG portfolio. Jefferson City Medical Group is leasing the buildings from the investment group.

Previous to the sale, Jefferson City Medical Group leased the buildings from four separate entities.

Real estate advisory firm Newmark Knight Frank represented JCMG in the sale.
