St. Louis woman killed in Howard County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A St. Louis woman died early Thursday in a Howard County crash, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Victoria Cooper, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Route O about a quarter-mile north of Howard County Road 130, according to a patrol crash report. Cooper's SUV went off the road and hit a culvert, fence post and tree at about 1 a.m., the patrol says.

Cooper was not wearing a seat belt, the report says.
