Motorcycle rider badly hurt in Howard County crash

HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Callaway County man suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle wiped out on gravel Friday on a rural Howard County highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Randall Johnson, 58, of Holts Summit was riding his Harley-Davidson Road King on Route FF when he hit gravel in the intersection with County Road 229 at about 10:20 a.m. Johnson was thrown from the motorcycle, the patrol said.

An ambulance took Johnson to University of Missouri Hospital. Information about his condition was not immediately available.
