Marshall teen hurt in Howard County head-on crash

HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Marshall teen suffered serious injuries in a Howard County crash Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Danielle Snyder, 17, was driving her Volkswagen Beetle at Highway 5 and Highway 240 on the outskirts of Fayette a little before 8 p.m. when the crash happened.

A Jeep Compass driven by Alexander Osborn, 22, of Paris, Missouri crossed the center line and hit Snyder's car head-on, the patrol reported.

Snyder was taken by ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital with serious injuries. Osborn had minor injuries but refused treatment.
