WHAT’S GOING AROUND: More flu cases reported in the U.S.

ABC 17 News

Medical officials around the country, including in Mid-Missouri, continue to diagnose new cases of the flu.

Broadway Urgent Care said influenza types A and B have been seen recently.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said more than 6.4 million cases of the virus have been confirmed this flu season. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease reported about 2,900 have died from influenza this year.
