Flu, updated COVID-19 shots available at MU Health Care drive-thru vaccination events
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The updated COVID-19 shots will be available at drive-thru vaccination events held by MU Health Care.
The flu shot will also be available. According to a Thursday press release, the drive-thru event will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at South Providence Medical Park on:
- Saturday, Sept. 30
- Saturday, Oct. 14
- Saturday, Oct. 28
The flu shot will be available to those 6 months old and older, with the new COVID-19 booster is available to those 6 years old and older.
The press release states that patients are asked to wear loose clothing and short sleeves. Younger children will get their shot in the thigh, the release states.
All patients should bring an insurance card and will sign a consent form before receiving a vaccination, the release states. MU Health Care employees should bring their badge and anyone with a COVID-19 vaccination card is encouraged to bring it.
In addition, Mizzou Pharmacy locations will host vaccination clinics in September and October, the release states.
