Low water pressure forces boil water notice for Rockbridge Estates

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Consolidated Public Water of Boone County is reporting a precautionary boil water advisory after an afternoon water main break and a report of low water pressure.

According to the release, the advisory runs from 3:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday at noon.

All water service areas affected include customers on 163 from Rockbridge State Park to Providence Rd, Gans Creek to/including Rock Quarry Rd, along Route K south to Bethel Church Rd to Old Plank Rd and the Rockbridge Estates Subdivision.

Water for drinking or cooking must be vigorously boiled for three minutes prior to use.
