Sandra Colhour named next Callaway County prosecutor

Sandra Colhour will be the next prosecuting attorney in Callaway County.
The 13th Judicial Circuit Court made the announcement in a Thursday press release. Colhour will replace Benjamin Miller, who was appointed to a new circuit judge seat by Gov. Mike Parson last week.
Miller is expected to begin his new position on Aug. 23 and Colohur will be sworn in by Presiding Judge Brouck Jacobs, the release says. Colhour will serve the remainder of Miller’s term, which ends on Jan. 1, 2026, the release says.
According to the release, Colhour has worked for the Callaway County Prosecutor’s Office since 2020, and served as first assistant prosecuting attorney in that office since January 2023. Colhour also worked for the Missouri Supreme Court on the Legal Ethics Counsel, the release says.
