Yard, truck burned in Centralia

CENTRALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A controlled burn that got out of control on Tuesday in Centralia caused a truck and one-and-a-half acres of land to be burned in the 1700 block of Crownview Drive.

Boone County Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Gale Blomenkamp said flames spread to the truck and a neighboring yard. The truck was destroyed by the time crews arrived. No injuries were reported.

The truck was moved behind a home when an ABC 17 News photographer arrived.
