COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No injuries were reported in a fire at a business on Crystal Springs Road in Osage Beach, the Osage Beach Fire Protection District wrote on its Facebook page.

The business was closed at the time of the fire. The fire is under investigation by the Osage Beach Fire Marshal’s Office.

Crews from multiple fire agencies fought the fire for more than four hours.

“Upon further investigation fire was found on the rear of the structure both inside and outside of the building, spreading rapidly. Multiple attack lines were placed in service to combat this blaze. Multiple cars, propane tank and other flammables on the interior, fueled the fire making an interior attack impossible for firefighters,” the post says.

Because there were no hydrants in the area, water was brought in from a local pond by multiple tankers, the post says.
