No injuries reported in Linn Creek house fire
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No injuries were reported in a house fire in Linn Creek, the Osage Beach Fire Protection District wrote in a Monday evening Facebook post.
The department wrote that crews were dispatched to the Winterwood Loop area at 3 p.m. The response time was slowed because of icy road conditions, the post says.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation, the post says.
“Chief 4 reported heavy fire conditions coming from multiple sides and levels of the 2 1/2 story building. Engine 12 arrived shortly after and placed 2 - 1 3/4” hose lines in service. An aggressive interior attack was made by fire personnel but crews were forced to exit due to excessive heat and fire conditions not improving,” the post says.
Fire crews were in the area for three hours.
