No injuries reported in Columbia garage fire

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No injuries were reported after crews responded to a garage fire in west Columbia on Thursday.

Crews responded to a fire at 1:57 p.m. in the 1500 block of Canton Drive, according to Columbia Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Rodriguez. A garage that was attached to a home was “fully involved with flames,” she wrote. Crews arrived within three minutes and were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Columbia Fire Marshals are investigating the origin and cause of the fire.
