FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Russell Sing will be Fulton’s next fire chief.

The City of Fulton wrote in a Saturday social media post that Sing was promoted to chief after serving in the assistant chief role since 2022. He has been with the department since 2018.

Sing was promoted after former Fire Chief Kevin Coffelt retired after 31 years, a Facebook post from the Missouri Association of Fire Chiefs states. The City of Fulton shared information about Coffelt’s retirement on Friday.

Todd Gray was also promoted to assistant chief, according to the Missouri Association of Fire Chiefs.
