FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The cause of a Monday night fire in Fulton has been listed as “undetermined” after an investigation by fire marshals, according to a Wednesday email from Fulton Fire Chief Kevin Coffelt.

“After completing a thorough investigation, the fire cause has been listed as undetermined. They were not able to rule out electrical in the attic as a possible cause,” the email reads.

A fire broke out Monday at Total Health and Rehabilitation Center in the 700 block of South Business 54 in Fulton. No injuries were reported in the fire. Crews arrived to the scene at 9 p.m. and it took about three hours for the fire to be brought under control, Fulton Assistant Fire Chief Russell Sing said on Tuesday.

Coffelt said on Monday evening that crews were originally sent inside the building to attack the fire, but the roof became unstable, so personnel was instructed to get out of the building.

The business wrote on Facebook on Monday evening that it was devastated by the fire. It wrote earlier in the day that the office was closed Monday. Brian Hoselton, a chiropractor at the center, told ABC 17 News on Tuesday that the future of the center is unknown.
