No injuries reported in fire at Total Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fulton

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Monday evening at Total Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fulton, the business confirmed on its Facebook page.

Total Health and Rehab is located in the 700 block of South Business 54 in Fulton.

Fulton Fire Chief Kevin Coffelt told ABC 17 News at the scene that no injuries were reported. Crews arrived on the scene around 9 p.m.

Coffelt said crews were originally sent inside the building to attack the fire, but the roof became unstable, so personnel was instructed to get out of the building.

The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation. It took about three hours for crews to bring the fire under control, according to Assistant Fire Chief Russell

A viewer named Elizabeth Brooke submitted a video that appeared to show flames going through the top of the building.

Coffelt said Tuesday morning the cause remained under investigation. Assistant Fire Chief Russell Sing told ABC 17 News on Tuesday that the department thinks fire marshals will have the cause identified later this week.
